Dougies Backpackers Resort is run by a bunch of folks who had lots of fun backpacking around the world, so they decided to start a hostel themselves. They have been building Dougies Backpackers for over 12 years and have the relaxed atmosphere, without all of the formal procedures that some hostels have. The philosophy at Dougies is "Kick Back and Relax".
