Shantara Resort Port Douglas offers boutique style accommodation ideal for couples, honeymooners or the independent traveller looking to escape in tranquil surrounds. (Children over the age of 16 are welcome).

Shantara is located walking distance to Macrossan Street, where you will find an array of Restaurants, cafes and only 400 metres to Four Mile Beach.

The one bedroom apartments have a full kitchen, king bed, separate spa bath and separate shower, large living area, that opens out to the balcony with sitting area. Other one bedroom apartments feature pool deck access from the balcony and/or Jacuzzi's(Hot Tub) in private courtyards.

The studio rooms have queen beds, kitchenette with bathroom with separate shower and a balcony to sit out on with a cool drink, perfect for the shorter stay. The Studio pool deck rooms will allow you access to the pool from the balcony.

Available also wireless internet, ipod/iphone docking station, cable television, DVDs and laundry facilities to all apartments and studio's.

Two pools one heated in winter. Gymnasium, Day Spa for personalised treatments, undercover barbecue area, secure free car parking.

Shantara Resort is a family operated business offering personalised and friendly service. The property completed a refurbishment in January 2011.

Studio has kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities, microwave, mini bar fridge, granite tops with sink and crockery. Queen bed (twin beds on request) air-conditioned, ceiling fans, cable television, plasma television, bathroom has shower recess only, hair dryer, balcony with outdoor setting and separate laundry facilities.
One Bedroom Apartment - Pool View
One bedroom fully self-contained apartment with dishwasher, hotplate, convection microwave oven, granite bench tops, large fridge, all appliances in stainless steel, crockery, tea/coffee facilities. Air-conditioned, ceiling fans, plasma television, cable television, CD and DVD players. King bed, bathroom with large spa bath, separate shower, hair dryer. Large balconies with outdoor furniture. Separate laundry is accessible from lobby area.
Shantara Apartment Outdoor Jacuzzi and Pool Deck
The Shantara apartments feature the same facilities as the one bedroom apartment and extras include - private Jacuzzi located in the courtyard surrounded by gardens and out from the balcony is a pool deck for direct access to the pool. Only 4 Shantara apartments available, great for your Honeymoon, or that special occasion.
