During vintage, you might see your host thigh-deep in a vat, treading the pinot noir grapes to ensure a slow, even ferment. You may also have the opportunity to taste a barrel sample of a young pinot destined for a long life in a bottle. Time, like the wine, is valued at Three Willows Vineyard. Wander to the top of the vineyard and look out to the peaks of the Great Western Tiers and the surrounding patchwork of farms and paddocks. Cellar door sales are available from the licensed premises. Three Willows Vineyard is also located on the Gourmet Food Trail. Red Hills is a 45 minute drive from Launceston (60 kilometres/37 miles).
