Many clients use us as a base to see the Tableland which can take forever if you have the time. Bush walking on well maintained tracks high into the ranges to see old tin mines,gold mines and the Barron River. The huge Tinaroo Dam is about 200 m away from your cabin and when the dam is full is a spectacular site as it overflows. Birdwatching is a must as there are hundreds of species incuding parrots,wrens,honey eaters and many more. PRETTYFACE wallabies abound. If you have a boat skiing is very popular in the fresh water. Cooler temperatures up here and very little if any humidity most of the year.We have AUSTAR in all cabins and with the new HD channels we get up to 30 channels. Reception is very good.
